Serif fonts are fonts that have a small line attached to the end of a stroke in a letter. Serif fonts are usually easier to read compared to their sans-serif counterpart. Without the serif, our brains take longer to identify a letter because of its less distinctive shape.
With that said, finding a free serif font can be time-consuming, so we compiled a couple of our favourites into this list.
