Responsibilities: 

• Develop and lead content strategies, direction and guidelines to build Wei Guan as a recognisable Chinese platform 
• Supervise content team and oversee Wei Guan daily publishing operations, control schedules and enforce deadlines
• Produce, review and proofread all written, visual and video content produced, including social media postings, articles and videos
• Work closely with business development managers to advise clients on how their brand will be integrated into Wei Guan content
• Always be prepared to resolve issues as they arise
  
  

Requirements:

• Must have an eye for good content; able to determine content which are able to capture the audience’s attention
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English, excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Proven experience as Lead/Senior Editor or relevant role 
• Working knowledge of online platforms like social media, WordPress and SEO concepts
• Abilities in planning and coordinating team and operations
• Excellent organisational, leadership and problem solving skills
• Outstanding communication and people abilities
• Reliability and efficiency, attention to detail
• Possess a Diploma, Degree or equivalent certification in journalism or relevant field
• Candidates with portfolio attached will be highly considered
